The Story:

 There was once an introductory flash while the game was downloading that showed the story of the game. This is what it showed:

    Scrooge McDuck went to see Gyro Gearloose at his factory and found him not there. He finds a frozen statue next to a conveyor belt. The statue wore a sign that says "Don't Touch!" and a big red button was on its chest. Scrooge being the greedy meister he is gets a little too curious and pushes the button. Big Mistake. This obviously activates the robot statue and then it walks over to a set of controls and starts moving levers and pushing buttons. The conveyor belt turns on and cogs start being manufactured. Eventually the cogs use their heli-packs to escape the factory. Scrooge being terrified, runs from the factory to tell everyone in ToonTown what happened.

    
    It is unknown where Scrooge and Gyro currently is right now. Most people say that they think the cog Scrooge activated is the head cog, although it can't be confirmed.

    After telling Flippy, the mayor of ToonTown what happened, Flippy discovers that the Cogs are buisness loving robots and plan to turn the colorful ToonTown into a dark buisness empire! and then flippy discovers that Cogs are vulnerable to laughs which come from gags. Flippy warns the town to stock up on gags to attack the oncoming fleet of cogs.
